Scenic drive through the Balkan Mountains to Veliko Tarnovo – the medieval capital of Bulgaria.
Visit to the Arbanassi architectural reserve, including a walking tour of the village and visits to the Church of the Holy Mother of God and the Petropavlovsky Monastery.
Visit to Tsarevets Hill – a tour around the medieval fortress walls and palaces, once symbols of the glory of the old Bulgarian capital.
Free time for lunch and relaxation.
